My new favorite piece of exercise equipment…
The Tree
I have always liked the tree in my front yard. Perfect little branches for swinging on, doing pull ups or just climbing. The other day I thought to myself, I bet I could get a pretty good workout using nothing but that tree. Sure enough, the tree was all I needed.
My Tree Workout:
Climbing
Body rows
Pullups
Dips
Swinging
Muscle ups
Handstand pushups
Hanging from legs
Curl ups
Plyo pullups
Jumping onto a branch
Swing jumping off a branch
Single leg squats on a branch
Quite a workout.
There is plenty more I could do with that tree and I plan on spending a bunch more time with it this summer. It never ceases to amaze me how things right in front of us end up being a nice little piece to the puzzle.

I know- I can’t believe it took me two years to see how much potential I had right there in the front yard! As soon as you guys move to North Carolina you can get all the trees you want!
