In honor of mothers everywhere, and the amazing ones in my life, I thought a quick tribute was appropriate…
The Nature of Mothers
It’s a very common belief that Mother Nature knows what she’s doing and I would be the first to agree with this, as one of the underlying messages of this blog is just that: Mother Nature knows best. There’s something about the way the world just works, the harmony, balance and rhythm of it all, and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that we term this concept “Mother” nature. They just seem to know the right way (or “think” they do if you’re a teenager) and do their best to help us become the best versions we can be. They care for us more deeply than we will probably ever know and always do what’s in our best interest. That’s why we trust them and know they’ll take care of us. They’re mothers- that’s what they’re born to do.
The general motherly law:
The more we obey mom, the less likely we are to get in trouble. The more we disobey our mothers, the more likely we are to get ourselves in trouble.
Similarly:
The more we obey Mother Nature, the less likely we are to get in trouble. The more we disobey Mother Nature, the more likely we are to get ourselves in trouble.
So, let’s celebrate all mothers today, starting with the wonderful ones in our lives and finishing with the most universal mother of all, Mother Nature, by honoring them not only today but every day and putting our faith in them to take care of us and do what’s in our best interest each and every day. I trust they will take good care of us as they always do.
Thanks for reading, have a great day!
P.S. Happy Mothers Day!
